Gavin Litchfield

Gavin Litchfield has extensive work experience in software engineering, data engineering, and trading. Gavin is currently a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Vericast, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Valassis Digital from January 2018. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at MaxPoint, where they worked on big data engineering and machine learning using Scala, Clojure, Hadoop, Cascalog, and Spark starting from September 2015. Gavin also has experience as a Senior Java Developer at Barchart.com, Inc. from February 2012 to August 2015. Gavin worked as a Trade Developer at Webster Trading from April 2010 to December 2011. Before that, they worked as a Trader & Analyst at TransMarket Group, L.L.C. from January 2009 to April 2010, and as a Trade Developer & Analyst at Allston Trading from January 2008 to October 2008. Gavin started their career as an Actuarial Consultant at Deloitte Consulting in 2003, where they worked until 2007.

Gavin Litchfield attended Loyola University Chicago from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed graduate coursework in Mathematics at Renyi Institute of Mathematics in 2001. Gavin obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
