Matthew Roddy

Matthew Roddy is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist currently employed at Verint since October 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from previous positions at Cogito Corp, where Matthew worked from June 2020 to October 2024, and Trinity College Dublin, where Matthew served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate from September 2015 to June 2020. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, a Master of Engineering from Dublin City University, a Master of Science in Music Technology from the University of Limerick, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity College Dublin, Matthew's research has primarily focused on developing conversational turn-taking models to enhance spoken dialogue systems. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Software Developer at VisiLit from November 2013 to September 2014.
