Chun Xie

Chun Xie serves as the Director of Software Engineering at VeriSilicon Holdings Co., Ltd. since July 2020, overseeing software development for various technologies including VPU, GPU, ISP, Audio, AI, Virtualization, and IoT across multiple platforms such as Linux, Windows, FreeRTOS, Android, and iOS. Prior to this role, Chun Xie worked at Marvell Semiconductor from July 2012 to July 2020, initially as a Senior Manager leading SoC simulation and system validation teams, and previously served as a Staff Firmware Engineer focusing on mobile SoC power management unit validation. Chun Xie also has experience as a Senior Embedded System Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, as a Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent developing BSPs and drivers, and at Maipu (Sichuan) Communication Co. developing device drivers for network equipment. Chun Xie holds a master's degree in Control Theory & Control Technology and a bachelor's degree in Automatic Control, both from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
