Julia Des Islets

Julia Des Islets has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julia is currently working at Veritas Communications, starting as a Senior Account Manager in April 2018 and progressing to Account Director in May 2020, Senior Account Director in March 2021, and currently holds the position of Associate Vice President since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Craft + Keen as an Account & Project Manager from August 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they worked at MAVERICK Inc., where they held the role of Account Manager from July 2014 to April 2016, and later as an Account Supervisor from April 2016 to July 2017. Julia'swork at MAVERICK Inc. involved managing various brands and reporting directly to the VP of Integrated Consumer Marketing. Julia also gained experience at BlueSky Strategies & Creative Inc. as an Account Executive from November 2012 to January 2014, where they independently managed multiple brands and was involved in various promotional marketing projects. Additionally, they worked as a Jr. Account Executive from October 2011 to November 2012 and as an Account Coordinator from October 2010 to October 2011 at the same company. Julia started their career as an Account Representative Intern at Cundari Advertising from May 2010 to August 2010. Julia was later recommended to the President of BlueSky Strategies & Creative Inc. based on their performance during the internship. Julia's earliest work experience was as an Event Coordinator at Utours from June 2009 to September 2009, where they managed logistics for a national marketing campaign.

Julia Des Islets earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Film Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University in the period from 2006 to 2010. In 2017, they attended RED Academy to complete a course in Digital Marketing Foundations.
