Davina Taylor

Davina Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades in various roles and industries. Davina started as a Receptionist at Southland Corporation in 1982, eventually transitioning to roles such as Collections Representative, Treasury Analyst, and Associate Financial Analyst. Their professional journey also includes positions at SSBA Credit Card Processing, MBNA IS Technology, Bank of America, and State of Texas, where they served as a Notary Public. Currently, Davina holds key leadership roles at Veritex Community Bank as Sr. Vice President, IT Project Management, and Vice President, IT Project Manager. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, release management, administrative assistance, and financial analysis.

Davina Taylor completed the CSM Microtek Certification Course in 2016, becoming a Certified Scrum Master with Scrum Alliance Membership. In the same year, they also received a Certification of Completion for MS Project 2013 from Certified Staffing Solutions. Prior to that, in 2015, they completed the PMP Prep Course Certification from Solutions Cube Group in PMP. Additionally, Davina obtained certifications in Cybersecurity at Work, How to Be More Strategic in Six Steps, and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2022. Davina also became a Texas Notary Public in November 2017.
