Chuanyi Zhao has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. In their most recent role, they worked as a Risk Developer at Verition Fund Management LLC starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Quantitative Developer at AIG from November 2021 to March 2023. Chuanyi also worked at Moody's Investors Service as a Financial Engineer from April 2020 to November 2021 and as a Quantitative Analyst from June 2018 to April 2020. They gained experience as a Derivatives Data Quant Intern at Bloomberg LP in July and August 2017. Chuanyi Zhao completed their high school education at NO.1 Middle School Affiliated to Central China Normal University from 2009 to 2012. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Quantitative Finance at the National University of Singapore from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, Chuanyi Zhao also attended UCLA briefly, studying Applied Mathematics. In 2016, they enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational Finance, completing their degree in 2017.
