Xiao Che

Xiao Che has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. From 2018 to present, they worked as a Software Developer at Verition Fund Management LLC. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they held the role of Quant Software Engineer at Cubist Systematic Strategies. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at VOLANT TRADING. Before transitioning to the software industry, they worked as a Financial Software Developer at Bloomberg LP from 2014 to 2016. Their earliest work experience was as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2014. In this role, they focused on optical interferometry research, implementing analytical physical models and leading instrumental projects to improve system sensitivity and data quality.

Xiao Che completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, from 2005 to 2007, Xiao pursued a Master's degree in Astronomy at the same university. Following this, from 2007 to 2008, Xiao attended Penn State University, although the degree name and field of study are not specified. Lastly, Xiao completed a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Michigan, studying from 2008 to 2014.
