William R. Kent III has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. William began their career at Bank of America in 2001 as a Vice President and Technical Lead/Subject Matter Expert for Online Banking, where they supervised a team of 5 subject matter experts and reduced the DPMO from 27000 to 10000. In 2012, they moved to TD and was promoted to Operations and Resiliency executive for all North American direct channel customer interfaces, managing a global team of 250 individuals. In 2016, they joined Legg Mason as Global Head of Infrastructure and Operations, leading a global team of 5 directs and 40 team members overseeing a $25M budget dispersed across operations, infrastructure program management and infrastructure support. In 2018, they returned to Bank of America as a Consultant, working with Fortune 500 companies. Currently, they are the VP, Head of Platform Operations at Verituity.
William R. Kent III obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Georgia State University between 1990 and 1993, focusing on Banking, Corporate Finance. William also obtained a Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University between 1984 and 1986, with a focus in Psychology. Additionally, they have obtained the ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2018 and is in the process of obtaining a Six Sigma Greenbelt.
