Krzysztof Mikoda

Krzysztof (Chris) Mikoda is a highly experienced engineering leader with a robust background in embedded systems, Agile methodologies, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Verkada since October 2022, Krzysztof co-founded SquadTec Poland in June 2020, promoting innovative Agile practices in hardware and embedded systems development. Prior experience includes roles as Co-Founder at Mafinka, where Agile and Lean principles were successfully applied to the real estate sector, and as Engineering Center Manager at Uber, focusing on the micromobility sub-brand Jump. Krzysztof's engineering leadership spans various startups, including InnoMe and 2BORA LED Lighting Systems, with earlier positions at ASSA ABLOY Poland, Motorola, and TRW, where strong foundations in embedded software engineering and team management were established. Krzysztof holds a Master's degree in Electronic and Telecommunication from Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg and a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from The Silesian University of Technology.
