Tyler Thackray

Tyler Thackray is a seasoned Android developer with extensive experience in software engineering and product management. Currently serving as a Senior Android Engineer at Verkada since June 2021, Tyler plays a pivotal role in the development of Verkada Command Mobile. Previously, Tyler was a Senior Android Product Engineer at Element, Inc., where contributions included the development of the company's first two apps, which secured significant funding. Experience at Netflix involved creating user-facing features for the Android UI Innovation team, while tenure at Tumblr focused on enhancing the popular Tumblr Android app. Tyler's career also includes positions at Arkami, Viggle Inc., and as a Co-Founder and CTO at CyberSynchs, where innovative data synchronization technology was developed. Tyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
