Dan Huitink has a diverse work experience that spans multiple sectors. Dan began their career as a Summer Associate at Quarles & Brady LLP in 2006. In 2007, they served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable John A. Jarvey at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. The following year, they worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Melloy at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. In 2009, they transitioned to the role of an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa. Dan then joined Snell & Wilmer in 2010 as an Attorney. In 2014, they moved to Vermeer Corporation, where they initially served as Corporate Counsel. Over the years, they grew within the company, becoming the Deputy General Counsel in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President and General Counsel at Vermeer Corporation since October 2022. Dan has gained valuable legal expertise and experience throughout their career trajectory.

Dan Huitink completed their Juris Doctorate (JD) degree in Law from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2008. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Sciences from Central College in 2004. Dan attended Augustana University (SD) in 2000-2001, and completed their high school education at West Sioux High School from 1996 to 2000.
