Mark Kapron has had a varied career history, beginning in 2016 as a Community Assistant at Arizona State University. In 2017, they took on a Product Engineering Intern role at Medtronic, followed by a Wire Harness Design Engineering Intern role at Boeing in 2018. In 2019, they were a Flight Control Systems Engineering Intern at Boeing, and in 2020 they became a Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute, where they developed research level technology with an emphasis in perception for deployment on a variety of autonomous platforms and embedded systems. Mark is currently a Robotics Engineer at Vermeer, starting in 2022.
Mark Kapron obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University between 2015 and 2019. Mark then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same school, which they completed in 2020.
