Tracey Chaney

Tracey Chaney has over 15 years of experience in the finance and operations fields. In 2020, they began working as the Finance Director and Finance & Business Manager at Vermilion, where they were responsible for day-to-day financial operations, administrative HR functions, month-end activities, training staff across all departments, overseeing budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing. From 2018 to 2020, they served as Accountant - simPRO US, managing day-to-day bookkeeping for the US operation of a multi-entity global corporation, assisting in monthly financial close, and heading accounts receivable. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as the Director of Operations at Ellen Bruss Design, where they managed all company bookkeeping, including AR/AP, reconciliations, creation of journal entries, preparing preliminary financial reports, and sales tax functions. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as the Office Administrator at Keane Coppelman Gregory Engineers, where they oversaw business finances, acted as human resource supervisor, drafted proposals and correspondence, proofread reports, and organized professional submissions. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as the Operations Coordinator & Office Administrator at Nexus Technologies Group, where they developed spreadsheets to analyze project costs and maintain delivery timelines, purchased job equipment, organized warehouse inventory, and dispatched field technicians to service calls. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Store Associate at Damascene Book Cellar, where they managed and revitalized the system of receiving and mailing online orders, trained new staff on procedure, and maintained an organized stock room.

Tracey Chaney attended State University of New York at Fredonia from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Accounting. Tracey then attended SUNY Oneonta from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics.
