Breck Knauft

Breck Knauft serves as the Executive Director of the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps since 2008, overseeing initiatives that empower young adults through public service projects and community engagement. Previously, Breck held the position of Director of Development at Woodbury College from March 2007 to December 2008, successfully increasing Annual Fund revenues by 25%. Breck's early career includes a decade as Teacher and Dean of Students at The Gailer School, where a multifaceted role involved teaching and curriculum design, as well as directing athletics and theater. Additionally, Breck spent nine summers with the Keewaydin Foundation, serving as Camp Director and Counselor, leading outdoor expeditions for youth. Breck holds a Master of Education from Saint Michael's College and a Bachelor's degree in History and French from Lawrence University.
