Michael Owers

Michael Owers is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at Vero Liability Insurance Limited since October 2016, Michael has previously held the role of Specialty Liability Manager at DUAL New Zealand Limited from January 2014 to October 2016. Prior positions include Senior Underwriter at Zurich Insurance plc and AIG, as well as a broker and risk advisor at Marsh. Michael began their career at AIG, where roles included Senior Underwriter and Underwriter from December 2001 to June 2005. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in Classical and Ancient Studies from The University of Auckland, complemented by foundational education from King's College.
