Olivia Gao

Olivia Gao is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as a Senior Investment Associate at Verod-Kepple Africa Ventures since March 2022, following a role as Investment Associate. Olivia has also gained valuable experience at Impact Bread as a Fellow since September 2019. Prior roles include Analyst positions at SouthBridge Group and Future Hub Africa, and a Summer Internship at Climate Finance Advisors, as well as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Early professional experiences include a research internship with The ChinaAfricaAdvisory and a position with UNDP, where Olivia contributed to renewable energy projects and development cooperation initiatives. Olivia's academic background includes a Master of Arts in International Economics and Development from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Fudan University, with additional studies at Sciences Po.
