Olivia Leong

Olivia Leong is the current Chief Executive Officer at Verra Asia, and they have previously held positions at WAAVE Technologies Inc, Verra Asia Pte. Ltd., and Visa.

Olivia started their career at Visa in May 2007 as VP & Head of Business Solutions, Asia Pacific. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic agenda and execution of Visa's B2B payment value proposition. Olivia led a team of B2B payment experts across the region, responsible for the design, development and distribution of Visa's non-consumer payment services and solutions in Asia Pacific. Olivia was also responsible for the product development strategy for enterprise platforms and solutions to support accounts payables and receivables processes.

Instrumental in the collaboration between Visa, Financial Institutions and Fintech community to co-create and distribute digital B2B payment capabilities to facilitate commerce. Olivia was with Visa for almost 11 years before they left in February 2018 to join American Express International Inc as Director, Product Management, Travel & Lifestyle Benefits, JAPA in December 2006.

After a year with American Express International Inc, they were promoted to Director, Head of Acquisition, Commercial Cards, Singapore in January 2000 where they spent 6 years in this role. Olivia has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Olivia Leong received their Bachelor of Science in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
