Chris Adams

Chris Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades.

Chris started their career in 1998 at Ingram Micro as an Account Executive, focusing on top performing Value Added Resellers in the Western U.S. Chris worked in this role until 2004, during which they also served as a Field Account Executive.

In 2005, Chris joined Wintec Industries as a Business Development Manager.

From 2006 to 2012, they worked at Verizon Wireless, where they held various positions. Chris started as a Regional Data Sales Manager, supporting the Southern California Business Channel during the shift towards embedded technologies and connected devices. Chris then became the Business Solutions Group - M2M Sales Enablement for the West Area, responsible for the Business Solution Group Product Portfolio and Services.

From 2012 to 2017, Chris worked at Verizon Business Markets. Chris started as an Associate Director - Partner and Channel, where they interacted with C-Level Business Leaders focused on wireless data solutions. Chris then became a National Client Partner, promoting infrastructure, networking, and data center virtualization, with a focus on driving IoT sales. Finally, they worked as a Client Partner, where they designed and implemented partner development plans to sell emerging portfolios.

In 2018, Chris held a position at Accelerated Concepts, Inc. as West U.S Sales. Chris worked on initiatives related to cellular networking equipment and enterprise VPN gateways.

Most recently, they joined Versa Networks in 2018 as the North America, MSP Channel Sales Director. Versa provides a cloud IP software platform that transforms network and security infrastructure. Chris contributed to achieving unprecedented business advantages through a software-based approach, focusing on agility, cost savings, and flexibility.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated a strong understanding of technology solutions and has developed expertise in software-defined networks, cyber security, SaaS, PaaS, IoT, and LTE networking.

Chris Adams completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Sciences from UC Santa Barbara between the years 1991 and 1996.
