Praveen Gopikrishnan

Praveen Gopikrishnan has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering. Praveen is currently a Senior Engineer at Versa Networks since March 2022. Previously, they worked at Juniper Networks as an ATAC Escalation Engineer from July 2021 to January 2022. Prior to that, Praveen worked at Pulse Secure where they held multiple roles including Residential Engineer from June 2020 to June 2021, Senior Escalation Engineer from March 2020 to May 2020, and Global Escalation Engineer from January 2019 to March 2020. Before their time at Pulse Secure, they were a Senior Network Engineer at Aryaka Networks from January 2016 to January 2019, where they were responsible for handling technical escalations, customer accounts, and providing network solutions. Praveen also gained experience at CSS Corp, where they worked as a Network Specialist from March 2014 to December 2015 and as a Network Engineer from March 2012 to March 2014, supporting Juniper VPN devices and handling customer queries.

From 2003 to 2006, they attended Thiyagarajar Polytechnic college and obtained a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.

Praveen then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from 2006 to 2009 at fresher jobs in Tamil Nadu.

In 2010 and 2011, Praveen Gopikrishnan enrolled at Northumbria University, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Network Technology.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the JNCIS certification from Juniper Networks in September 2013. Subsequently, in September 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Praveen also obtained the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification and the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Security (JNCIA-SEC) certification in September and October 2021, respectively.
