Susan Chen has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Susan has held various roles in well-known fashion brands, starting from their current position as Vice President of Commercial Operations - Asia Pacific at Versace, which they started in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Merchandising - Asia Pacific at Versace from June 2020 to November 2021. Before joining Versace, Susan worked at Gucci, where they held the position of Director of Merchandising and Visual Merchandising for Hong Kong and Macau from February 2019 to March 2020, and as the General Merchandise Manager for Taiwan from May 2017 to February 2019. Susan also gained experience at Loewe as the Head of Merchandising - APAC from October 2015 to February 2017, and at Marc Jacobs as the Head of Merchandising for China from March 2013 to October 2015. Susan started their career at Louis Vuitton, where they served as the Merchandise Manager for Accessories from June 2009 to March 2013, and as the Assistant Merchandise Manager for Leather Goods from November 2007 to June 2009. Susan also worked at Prada as a Wholesale Merchandise Planner from April 2005 to June 2007, at A.Testoni S.p.A. as a Wholesale Manager and Retail Buyer from July 2003 to April 2005, and at Barneys New York as an Assistant Buyer for Men's Shoes from November 2000 to March 2003.
Susan Chen has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship from The Johns Hopkins University. Susan also holds a Master's degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute. In addition, they have an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
