Mehmet Badur

Mehmet joined Versant in March 2022 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Principal in October 2022. He is based in San Diego and works on investments and company creation opportunities primarily on the West Coast.

Prior to joining Versant, Mehmet worked at Rheos Medicines where he most recently focused on business development and corporate strategy efforts. He initially joined Rheos Medicines as a discovery scientist where he helped build the metabolomics platform that enabled their early program development.

Mehmet completed his PhD in Bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego.
