Tom Miller

Tom Miller has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Tom is currently the Vice President of Government Affairs & Strategic Engagement at Versaterm Public Safety, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the President of TSM Consulting Services LLC from January 2021 to October 2022.

Previously, Tom held several roles at Motorola Solutions, including Industry Specialist - Public Safety Solutions from January 2015 to December 2020, where they focused on building relationships, driving industry insight, and creating business opportunities. Tom also served as the Director of Global Government Affairs and Director of the Government Market Strategy Team from March 2007 to January 2015.

Tom's earlier experience includes their tenure at the Michigan State Police, where they held the position of Lt. Colonel - Deputy Director. In this role, they were responsible for all Uniform, Investigative, and Intelligence Operations. Additionally, they played a key role in implementing various criminal justice information systems and networks for the state of Michigan.

Tom Miller earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University, where they studied from 1980 to 1986. Tom then pursued a Masters degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University, completing their studies from 1988 to 1991.
