Andy Touch has a diverse range of work experience in game development and technical roles. Andy began their career in 2011 with an industry work placement at State of Play Games, where they gained knowledge about indie game development and working on handheld devices. Andy then moved on to Bournemouth University, where they worked as a Technical Tutor and Mentor in Interactive Media Production, teaching classes on building mechanics in the Unity 3D Game Engine. Andy also worked as a Technical Tutor and Demonstrator in Digital Media Design, delivering workshops on various topics such as game design, mobile application design, video editing, and web development. At Unity Technologies, Andy held multiple roles, including EMEA Technical Evangelist, Global Content Developer, and Senior Game Developer. In these positions, they communicated with the game development community, created prototypes, developed content, and delivered presentations on Unity's features. Andy also collaborated with different teams on improving art pipelines and workflows. More recently, Andy worked as a VFX Artist & Developer (Freelance) at Design Matters DK and as a Senior Game Developer at Mrs Wordsmith. Currently, Andy is the Lead Game Developer at Versed.
Andy Touch attended Ferndown Sixth Form from 2007 to 2009, where they earned their A Levels in Media Studies, Art & Design, and English Language. Following that, they enrolled at Bournemouth University from 2009 to 2012, graduating with a BA Hons in Interactive Media Production.
