Conor Heins has worked in a variety of roles in the field of research and development. In 2012, they began as a Research Assistant at the EEG/ERP Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at Swarthmore College. Conor then became a Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Awardee (IRTA) at the National Institute on Drug Abuse Intramural Research Program (NIDA IRP) in 2015. In 2017, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization. In 2018, they were a Research Assistant at the European Neuroscience Institute. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Doctoral Student at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior. Conor is currently a Software Developer / Researcher at Nested Minds Network and a Researcher at VERSES.
Conor Heins obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Neuroscience from Swarthmore College between 2011 and 2015. Conor then went on to obtain a Master of Science - MS from The University of Gӧttingen in 2017-2019. Currently, Conor is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biology at the University of Konstanz.
