Safae Essafi Tremblay has been working in the field since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were self-employed as an editor, webmaster, copywriter, and translator. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at the Université du Québec à Montréal as a research and teaching assistant, conference organizer for The Montreal Cognitive Science Day and Cognitio 2017. In 2021, they joined HEC Montréal as a research project coordinator. Safae is currently working at VERSES as a senior grant manager and researcher and at L'Encyclopédie Francophone de Philosophie des Sciences Cognitives (EFPSC) as editor in chief and founder. From 2019 to 2021, they also worked at Thèsez-vous as a research and finance coordinator and service coordinator.
Safae Essafi Tremblay is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy and Cognitive Science at Université du Québec à Montréal, which they are expected to complete in 2026. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from the same university in 2020. Safae also holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Linguistics from Université du Québec à Montréal, which they obtained in 2016.
