Ron Hoover

Ron Hoover is a retired professional with a diverse background in music education and tax services. Previously, Ron Hoover served as a Tax Specialist at H&R Block from January 2008 to December 2021 and gained extensive experience in music as a Music Teacher and Band Director at Leslie County Schools from 1987 to 2007. Ron Hoover also held the position of Graduate Assistant of Bands at Eastern Kentucky University in 1985-1986 and worked as a Band Director at Boyd County Schools from 1980 to 1982. Early in their career, Ron Hoover was a Retail Manager at Best Products Merchandiser from 1982 to 1985 and briefly served as a PFC/Musician in Marine Corps Recruiting in late 1982 before a medical discharge. Ron Hoover holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Morehead State University.
