Balsu L. has extensive work experience in the field of fuel cell technology. They started their career at Plug Power in 1999, where they developed methods and devices to improve hydrogen production. Balsu then joined General Motors in 2003 and held various roles, including Senior Engineer and Engineering Group Manager. They were responsible for leading technology development, reducing costs, and setting the vision for product development. Balsu also managed research portfolios and led teams in developing innovative solutions for fuel cell components. In 2021, Balsu joined Ohmium as the VP of Stack Engineering, where they played a key role in designing electrolyzer stacks. In 2022, Balsu assumed the position of Chief Technology Officer at Versogen.
Balsu L.'s education history includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, which was obtained between 1998 and 2003. Prior to that, Balsu L. completed a B. Tech in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute between 1993 and 1997. Currently, Balsu L. holds no additional certifications.
