Brian Setzler

Senior Chemical Engineer and Co-founder at Versogen

Brian Setzler has a diverse work experience in the field of chemical engineering. Brian is currently serving as a Senior Chemical Engineer and Co-founder at Versogen since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Delaware where they held two roles - Research Assistant Professor starting from May 2020, and a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2016 to May 2020. Before joining the University of Delaware, Brian worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2009 to August 2015. During their time at Georgia Tech, they focused on developing physics-based impedance models of proton exchange membrane fuel cells, studying catalyst degradation, and inductive impedance effects.

Brian Setzler obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University between the years 2005 and 2009. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from 2009 to 2015.
