Mario Vilas

Mario Vilas has worked in the cybersecurity field since 2005. Mario'sexperience includes Senior Security Consultant roles at VerSprite Cybersecurity since 2020, NCC Group since 2015, and Buguroo Offensive Security since 2010. At Buguroo Offensive Security, Mario was also a Senior Developer and was the main developer for the research and development team of Golismero, a cloud-enabled automated penetration testing tool for web applications. From 2010 to 2015, Mario was a Security Consultant at ECIJA Consulting & Security, where they performed penetration testing and security assessments for different banks in Spain, researched and developed solutions for the detection and prevention of e-crimes, and researched and developed tools for automated information gathering on malware threats. From 2005 to 2010, Mario was an Exploit Writer at Core Security Technologies, where they developed stable multi-target exploits in Python for the CORE Impact framework, collaborated with the development of a remote exploit for OpenBSD, and held Exploit Writer Jr. and Exploit Writer SSr. roles.

Mario Vilas attended the University of Buenos Aires, where they studied Computer Science.
