Allan Rysin

Allan Rysin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Allan has worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Vertafore since 2017, where they have been involved in rewriting a legacy application into a new microservice based architecture. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Applications Engineer at Charles Schwab from 2014 to 2016, where they were responsible for aggregating data and generating reports. Allan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Progressive Insurance in 2014, where they automated business processes and added new functionalities to a web-based troubleshooting tool. Earlier in their career, they worked at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed a Windows Service and transitioned a proposal development tool to a new web-based application. Allan also worked as an Intern - Software Developer at National Financial Partners, where they extended the functionality of the company's internal MIS system. In addition, they have experience as a Webmaster, Summer Intern, and Teaching Assistant in various organizations.

Allan Rysin completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University in 2007. Allan then pursued an MBA in Leadership and Consulting from the same university, graduating in 2008. Later, Allan obtained a Masters degree in IT Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2012.
