Kristen Ambrose

Kristen Ambrose is the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where Kristen oversees a team of approximately 130 individuals and manages various financial functions, including Accounting, SEC Reporting, Corporate Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management. Prior to joining Vertex in March 2021, Kristen Ambrose served in several key finance roles at Boston Scientific from February 2003 to March 2021, including Vice President of Finance and Controller of the Global Endoscopy Division, where Kristen managed a $1.8 billion division. Kristen Ambrose also held positions as Vice President of Global Internal Audit and Finance Director for Global Operations and Quality. Early in their career, Kristen Ambrose worked at Ernst & Young and the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Kristen Ambrose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
