Grace Kong

Grace Kong serves as a Senior Associate at Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India since January 2024, focusing on identifying and investing in emerging start-ups and disruptive technologies while currently on secondment from the Singapore Government. Previously, at the Ministry of Manpower, Grace held the positions of Assistant Director and Senior Manager for Foreign Workforce Policy, leading significant projects such as the COMPASS framework overhaul. Additional experience includes a Development Partner role at Enterprise Singapore, contributions at the Ministry of Health Singapore as a Health Policy Analyst, and analytical internships at Cornerstone Research and the Singapore Ministry of Health. Grace holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University.
