Niclas Houtved Andersen

Niclas Houtved Andersen is a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer at Vertica since January 2022, with prior experience as a Developer at Novicell from November 2019 to December 2021 and as a Game Developer/Programmer at PlayOn ApS between September 2017 and October 2019. Niclas contributed to the online multiplayer tank shooter project TankWars.io and their involvement included the v2 release. Niclas also served as an eSport Coach/Instructor at Syddjurs Ungdomsskole, coaching two teams and coordinating matches in CSGO from September 2016 to May 2019. As a co-owner of Nerve Damage Games from May 2016 to November 2018, Niclas focused on game development, programming, and design. Early career experience includes a role as a Paperboy at FK Distribution A/S from April 2006 to June 2010. Niclas holds an AP Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Game Development from Erhvervsakademi Dania (2014-2017) and a Web-Integrator degree from Roskilde Technical College (2011-2014).
