Mark Helliwell

Mark Helliwell is an experienced programme and project manager with a strong background in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Programme Manager for Flight and Digital Systems at Vertical Aerospace, Mark oversees the development of complex prototype aircraft mechanical systems. Prior to this role, Mark worked at Babcock International Group as a Project Manager leading submarine system contracts and as an Assistant Project Manager on a significant submarine project. Earlier experiences include roles as a Graduate Engineer at AgustaWestland, where Mark contributed to significant project management initiatives, and various customer service positions. Mark holds a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Leeds and has further qualifications in management.
