Alex Weng

Alex Weng has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Most recently, they worked as the Vice President of APAC Procurement & Logistics at Vertiv starting in March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Executive of China & APAC Sourcing at GE Healthcare from August 2017 to February 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Honeywell Automation Control System Great China, including Director of Strategic Sourcing and APAC Sourcing Director. Alex also worked at Whirlpool Corporation and GE Security in different managerial positions. Starting their career at Kenwood Electronics, they held roles such as Production Management Supervisor and Purchasing Supervisor.

Alex Weng has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Supply Chain and Operation Management from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, obtained between the years 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they have a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tongji University, obtained between the years 1992 and 1996. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit" from LinkedIn, obtained in the year 2021.
