Andrew Hartley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Andrew began their career as a Marketing Manager at Eurospan Group in 1994. Andrew then joined Churchill Livingstone as a Subscriptions Marketing Manager in 1996. In 1997, they became an Account Manager at Martin Tait Redheads Limited, eventually working their way up to Account Director and later becoming the Account Director / Head of Campaign Planning. During their time at Martin Tait Redheads, they managed major agency accounts and had overall responsibility for media planning and buying. In 2013, they took on the challenge of becoming an Independent Business Owner of ChipsAway in the Sunderland area, where they successfully established and grew a new business. Andrew then joined The Auckland Project in 2017 as the Head of Marketing Projects, working on various marcomms projects centered around revitalizing Auckland Castle. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Advertising Manager at Vertu Motors plc and was recently promoted to Head of Advertising.
Andrew Hartley began their education at Dame Allan's Boys' School, where they studied English Literature, French, and Psychology and obtained their A Levels from 1977 to 1984. Andrew then attended Oxford Brookes University from 1985 to 1988 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Publishing & English Literature.
In 1994, Andrew Hartley attended West London College, where they pursued a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing until 1995. During this time, they also obtained a Diploma in Marketing certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
From 1995 to 2020, Andrew Hartley became a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing), indicating their ongoing professional development in the field.
In 2017, Andrew Hartley enrolled in Squared Online for a short period and obtained a Digital Marketing certification. Andrew later obtained another Squared Online certification in 2017.
In 2020, Andrew Hartley pursued a TV Masters from Thinkbox, focusing on TV planning & buying.
Additionally, Andrew Hartley obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification certification from Google in May 2020.
