Mathew Hetherington

Mathew Hetherington has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Mathew is currently employed as the Assistant Divisional Finance Director at Vertu Motors plc, a role they have held since June 2022. Previously, they worked at Pendragon PLC as a Regional Financial Controller from June 2018 to June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vertu Motors plc as a Group Project Accountant from January 2016 to June 2018. Mathew also held positions within the same company as a CMA Management Accountant from 2013 to 2015, an Assistant Accountant from 2011 to 2013, and an Accounts Assistant from 2008 to 2010. Starting their career, Hetherington worked as an Accounts Apprentice at Vertu Motors plc from June 2004 to 2007.

Mathew Hetherington attended Kings Grammar School from 2002 to 2004, where they studied Business Studies. Prior to that, they attended Central School from 1998 to 2002. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a professional certification at BPP Education. Here, they obtained a CIMA degree in Accounting and Finance.
