Kyle Buzby has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Kyle started their career as an Assistant to Project Manager Co-op at Railroad Construction Company in 2011, followed by a Geotechnical Co-op position at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services. In 2012, they worked as a Technogenesis Researcher at Stevens Institute of Technology.
From 2013 to 2014, Kyle served as a Design Engineer and later as a Senior Design Engineer at CME Associates. In these roles, they were involved in construction administration of public contracts, project management, and coordination with various stakeholders.
In 2015, Kyle joined Epic as a Software Engineer, where they initially worked on the Orders Testing Tools team before transitioning to the Orders team as a Software Developer. During their time at Epic, they contributed to the development of medication reconciliation features, core frameworks, and performance testing.
Currently, Kyle is working at Verve Industrial, a Rockwell Automation Company. Kyle started as a Software Engineer in 2021 and eventually became the Software Engineering Team Lead. In this role, their responsibilities included managing a team of developers, setting and executing roadmaps, providing technical guidance, and overseeing product support. Kyle made significant contributions by incubating a new team, developing vulnerability management and compliance plans, and leading the integrations area.
Recently, Kyle has taken on the position of Director of Software Engineering at Verve Industrial, where they continue to lead and make valuable contributions to the development of software solutions.
Kyle Buzby obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in the years 2009 to 2013. In addition, they also acquired a Professional Capstone Certificate in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2016 to 2018. Kyle also holds various certifications, including an 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher from OSHA in March 2015, a 10-Hour Construction Safety from OSHA in 2013, an Engineer in Training certification from NCEES in 2013, and a 40-Hour HAZWOPER from OSHA in 2010. Furthermore, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Programming with C# from edX, although the exact month and year are not specified.
