Alexander Galanos has extensive work experience in the legal field. Alexander began their career as a solicitor at Gadens in 2005 and worked there until 2007. Alexander then joined King & Wood Mallesons as a Senior Associate and remained with the company for six years. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Director at PwC Australia. From 2016 to 2018, they served as an Associate Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Alexander then returned to King & Wood Mallesons as a Senior Associate from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they became the General Counsel at Vesparum Capital and held this position until January 2020. Alexander currently serves as the General Counsel at Affinda, a role they have held since January 2020.
Alexander Galanos attended Melbourne Grammar from 1996 to 1999 for their secondary education. Alexander then pursued a LL.B and B.Comm in Finance at the University of Melbourne from 2000 to 2005. Afterwards, they attended New York University School of Law from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a focus on International Law and Legal Studies. Finally, from 2017 to 2021, they returned to New York University School of Law and completed another LLM degree, this time specializing in International Taxation.
