Mary Ellen McDevitt

Mary Ellen McDevitt has worked in the healthcare industry since 2006. Mary Ellen began their career at Lexington Healthcare Center as an Admissions Director, where they were responsible for maintaining communications with referral sources, securing and coordinating admissions, touring prospective clients, internal marketing, working to increase Medicare census and maintaining relationships with physicians. In 2008, they moved to Lemont Center as an Assistant Administrator. In 2009, they became the Admissions Director at Norwood Crossing, and in 2010 they were promoted to Administrator at Bethesda Lutheran Communities. In 2013, they joined Victory Centre of Park Forest as the Sales Manager, where they were responsible for maintaining census, visiting referral partners, touring prospective residents, ensuring move in applications were processed in a timely manner, conducting sex offender/background checks, assessing prospective residents, ensuring apartments were "move-in ready," creating "Welcome kits/gifts" for new residents, developing inquiry and tour tracking tools, developing a resident-based welcoming committee, addressing any concerns, hosting marketing events, offering ongoing training for staff/managers, and maintaining above budget census. In 2014, they moved to Glenwood Healthcare & Rehab as an Administrator and Social Services Director. In 2016, they became the Administrator at Crestwood Terrace Nursing Center. In 2020, they were promoted to Executive Director at Charter Senior Living. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Vesta Healthcare as an Enrollment Manager and Program Enrollment Specialist.

Mary Ellen McDevitt obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Illinois University between 1998 and 2003.
