Principal Engineer & Lead Specialist- Additive Manufacturing & Advanced Concepts at Vestas

Jeremy Haight has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Jeremy started their career as a Metallurgical Technologist at Asphalt Paving Company in 2005 and worked there until 2007. Jeremy then joined Ball Corporation as an M&O Process Engineer, where they worked for five years. In 2012, they joined Sundyne, where they served as a Project Specialist, SME Metrology, and Manufacturing Engineer until 2015. After that, they joined Vestas, where they held multiple positions. Jeremy started as a Production Engineer in 2015 and then progressed to Sr. Tooling Engineer & Specialist until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Principal Engineer & Specialist in Industrial Automation and Additive Manufacturing. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer & Lead Specialist in Additive Manufacturing & Advanced Concepts at Vestas since August 2021. Throughout their career, they have been involved in digital solutions integration, AI/ML, additive manufacturing, industrial automation, technology R&D, project management, and providing guidance and mentoring to manufacturing engineering staff.

Jeremy Haight earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Red Rocks Community College, which they attended from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Jeremy has also obtained several professional certifications. These include the General Additive Manufacturing Certificate from ASTM International in September 2022, the Additive Manufacturing for Innovative Design and Production certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in December 2021, the Certified Additive Expert- Metals certification from Markforged in October 2021, the Certified Additive Manufacturing, Technician: CAM-T certification from SME in August 2021, the Certified Additive Expert-Composite certification from Markforged in March 2021, and the Certified Additive Manufacturing, Fundamentals: CAM-F certification from SME in November 2020.

Lastly, Jeremy obtained the Certified Labview Associate Developer certification from NI (National Instruments) in November 2014. Jeremy also has a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma from UTC Aerospace Systems, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
