Mehran Nourbakhsh

Mehran Nourbakhsh serves as the Head of Plant Innovation and Head of AI & Digital Solutions at Vestas since March 2022, leveraging extensive expertise in innovation and management. Previously, at Vattenfall from September 2019 to March 2022, Mehran held the role of Principal Engineer, O&M Intelligence, where responsibilities included acting as the highest technical authority on operations and maintenance, data-driven asset management, and systems engineering. Prior to Vattenfall, Mehran spent nearly a decade at Vestas, advancing from Chief Specialist in Data Engineering & Analytics to roles focused on data infrastructure and SCADA solutions. With a strong foundation in software development from positions at NEG Micon Control Systems A/S, Esko-Graphics, and Purpup Eskoft A/S, Mehran's academic background includes a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Physics from Aarhus University.
