Susheel Kumar

Susheel Kumar has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. From 2022 to present, they have been the Engineering Director at Vested Finance. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Director of Engineering at Bounce, where they took responsibility of the entire engineering team after a major reorg as a result of Covid-19, managed all systems with a team of 20, and helped the company diversify into multiple business verticals. Susheel was also the Senior Engineering Manager at Bounce, where they managed the consumer tech team, launched the dockless business post multiple covid lockdowns, and launched the on-demand delivery of bikes feature with a new team. As an Architect, they architected and developed an in-house map based admin panel framework and an experiment and workflow engine that supports product and business teams. As Lead Software Engineer at Kingfisher, they re-architected the core platform to handle scale and improve reliability. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Lead Software Engineer at Hike Messenger, where they led the React Native and web microapp platform team, and led a team of 5 in the development of 5 group microapps and the underlying group microapp framework. Susheel also conceptualized, designed, and developed the text sticker feature, and built core systems to support a game store where users could download games over the air. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Intern at the Indian Institute of Science.
