Benedikt Hirmer

Benedikt Hirmer has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Benedikt is currently serving as the CTO & Co-Founder at vestico since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Apple for a significant period of time. Benedikt held the role of Software Engineering Manager from October 2018 to January 2020, where they led the team responsible for creating the Intelligence features in Apple Photos apps. During their tenure, they collaborated with more than 20 teams internally to build products that are used by billions of users worldwide. Benedikt also worked as a Software Engineer at Apple from April 2017 to October 2018 and from April 2015 to March 2017.

Before joining Apple, Benedikt Hirmer worked at Pomfort as a Software Engineer from November 2014 to March 2015 and from September 2010 to October 2014. Benedikt also had a role as a Freelance Software Developer under their own name from September 2010 to March 2015. In addition, they gained industry experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Apple from June 2013 to September 2013.

Benedikt Hirmer pursued their education in informatics from Technische Universität München. Benedikt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics from 2008 to 2012. Afterward, they continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Master of Science degree in Informatics from 2012 to 2015.
