Sarah Dawson's work experience includes various roles in the veterinary field. In 2018, they co-founded Vet-AI and became the Chief Veterinary Officer, responsible for developing innovative products and services using AI technology. Sarah also served as the President of BVDSG starting in 2018. Prior to that, Sarah worked at Axiom Veterinary Laboratories Ltd as an Allergy Vet Advisor from 2015 to 2019. Sarah also worked at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists as a Veterinary Dermatologist from 2016 to 2018. In addition, Sarah worked at CVS Group Plc as an Advanced Practitioner and Veterinary Dermatologist from 2010 to 2018. Sarah had a role as a Veterinary Dermatologist at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals from 2016 to 2017, and as a Clinical Dermatologist at Langford Veterinary Services from 2013 to 2014.
Sarah Dawson completed their education at several institutions. Sarah first attended La Sagesse Convent in Romsey, Hampshire from 1977 to 1990. Sarah then studied at King Edward VI School Southampton from 1990 to 1992. Sarah pursued their passion for veterinary medicine and enrolled at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, where they obtained a degree in BVetMed from 1992 to 1998. Sarah later pursued specialization in veterinary dermatology at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons from 2007 to 2010, earning a Cert VD. Additionally, they expanded their expertise in clinical oncology by completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2003.
