Stara N. Robertson

Stara N. Robertson, DVM, DACLAM, currently serves as a Senior Clinical Veterinarian at Houston Methodist Research Institute since August 2022, while also working as a Relief/Contract Veterinarian for Vetco Clinics and PetIQ since January 2022. Previous experience includes positions as a Clinical Veterinarian at Baylor College of Medicine and Charles River Laboratories, as well as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University Medical Center. Stara has also held the role of Relief/Contract Veterinarian with VIP Petcare and completed a brief externship in Laboratory Animal Medicine at Washington Primate Research Center. Stara's educational background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, an ACLAM-recognized residency in Laboratory Animal Medicine from Columbia University, and an internship in the Medicine and Management of Nonhuman Primates at The Mannheimer Foundation.
