Joshua Cherkinsky has a long and varied work experience. Joshua is currently a Limited Partner at Veteran Ventures Capital since 2022. Joshua was also a Partner at The Tech Advocates from 2020 to 2022, Managing Partner at Cherktek Consulting, LLC from 2010 to 2020, Director of Business Development at Teksouth Corporation from 2011 to 2020, and Deputy Commander 11th Comptroller Squadron at the United States Air Force from 2003 to 2010. During their time in the US Air Force Reserve, they held the roles of Chief, Joint Transportation Reserve Unit, J8 Division, Inspector General - Complaints 433rd Airlift Wing, Director Financial Management 452nd Air Mobility Wing, and Deputy Director Financial Management 459th Air Refueling Wing from 2010 to 2020. Joshua also held the roles of Financial Management Officer, Director, Financial Planning and Analysis for the Afghan National Army - CSTC-A, Military Industry Fellow - Raytheon, Deputy Director Financial Planning and Analysis (Deputy Commander, Financial Analysis Flight), and Director of Finance/Deputy Chief Financial Officer Joint Task Force - Bravo, US Southern Command during their time in the United States Air Force from 2003 to 2010.
Joshua Cherkinsky began their education in 1993, attending Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School until 1997. Joshua then attended the US Air Force Academy Preparatory School from 1997 to 1998. In 1999, Joshua began attending the United States Air Force Academy, where they earned a degree in Management in 2003. Following their graduation from the Air Force Academy, Joshua pursued an MBA from Webster University, which they completed in 2006. In 2008, Joshua earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Raytheon IIS. Finally, in 2009, Joshua attended Harvard Business School's High Potentials Leadership Program, where they studied Organizational Leadership.
