Ellen O'Brien

Ellen O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Their most recent position was at Veterans Affairs Canada / Anciens Combattants Canada, where they served as a Team Lead - Strategic Communications. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Communications Officer and Communications Officer in the same organization. Ellen also has experience at Parks Canada, where they were a Partnering, Engagement and Communications Officer and a Public Relations and Communications Officer. Additionally, Ellen has worked as a Policy Analyst at The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce, a Program Analyst at the Government of Prince Edward Island, and an Executive Assistant to a Member of Parliament. Ellen has also held various roles related to research and environmental issues. Ellen's work experience showcases their expertise in communications, policy analysis, and research.

Ellen O'Brien completed an Intensive French Language Program at McGill University in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Marine Biology Co-op from Dalhousie University between 2002 and 2007. In 2007, they also participated in a French Language Immersion-Spring Session at Université Sainte-Anne.
