Kevin Cortes

Kevin Cortes is a seasoned aviation and community leader with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Flight Operations Base Consultant and Team Lead for Balefire Safety Systems at San Diego Gas & Electric, Kevin also founded the Veterans Beer Club in San Diego, fostering networking among military veterans. Kevin initiated the San Diego Marine Corps Veterans Birthday Ball charity event and has held significant leadership positions, including Executive Vice President for the Association of Naval Services Officers and Treasurer for the San Diego Veterans Coalition. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master’s in Management and Leadership from Webster University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and Physics from Union College.
