Kathy Burnell

Kathy Burnell is a skilled veterinarian with extensive experience in animal care. Currently serving as a Relief Veterinarian at VetIQ Staffing since January 2022, Kathy also co-founded PupLid in August 2014, inspired by the need to protect a pet from sun exposure. Previous roles include a Veterinarian at Oceanside Veterinary Hospital from July 2012 to December 2021 and at Pacific Animal Hospital from August 2008 to June 2012, along with an internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center from July 2007 to July 2008. Kathy holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University, obtained in 2007, and a Bachelor of Science degree from UC San Diego, completed in 1997.
